A haven of peace

Our house is located in Libournais and more exactly between Coutras and Guîtres. You will find several styles of landscapes there: extents of vines, greenery, rivers and forests..

Maine Blanc is an old house of Master where calms and expatriation are with go. In the heart of a park of 13ha, in edge of river for the in love ones with fishing, the ballades, at the beginning of the excursions for most sporting.

In short, nothing fails to ensure you a stay of most cordial.

An area full with promises

The Gironde is the vastest French department. In the West, the Atlantic Ocean, 126 kilometers of coast and beaches. Soulac, Lacanau, Arcachon... Behind, the immense forest protected by the dunes: its 480 000 ha of cultivated maritime pines make of it the most wooded department of France.

In the grounds, water is always there with 3500 km of rivers including 400 km of inland waterways: the Dordogne and the Garonne and also the lakes Hourtin and Carcans, the pond of Cousseau, one of many significant natural spaces of the Gironde.

And of course, the most famous vineyard of the world, which counts 57 labels of origin controlled, extends sometimes as far as the eye can see, for the greatest pleasure of the eyes... and the papillae. Essential in the economic life of the department, the vine growing is also an art of living which readily the of Gironde ones share.

The Gironde, it is all that and much more still: a department where it makes good food and to remain. To discover it, you have the embarrassment of the choice: become hikers on the 2750 kilometers of footpaths, cyclists on the 1000 kilometers of marked tracks, in love with nature with river tourism and the country holidays, historians in the 205 listed monuments and 453 monuments registered or taster on the roads of the castles....
